Earn Category #4 (Online/Web session) CEUs By Taking Online Quizes

Technicians may qualify for up to 1 CEU per certification cycle for passing each online quiz (up to 5 per certification cycle). To qualify, Technicians must view or download and read the materials in either PDF or Powerpoint format, then pass the online quiz by answering at least 4 out of 5 questions correctly (80%).

You will be asked to provide your name and certification number prior to taking each test and these should be entered as they appear in your online profile. After passing each test, you will need to print the certificate of completion that will be generated to verify that you have taken and passed the quiz.

CEUs earned by viewing these presentations and passing the quizzes should be entered under "Category #4: Online/Web sessions." This category is also labeled "8d: Online/Web sessions (Category 4)" on the "Recertification Requirements and Status Summary" page used to enter information during an individual's recertification cycle.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The certificate must be printed at the time the quiz is completed and filed with your re-certification records. There will be no electronic record of technicians who have taken and passed the quizes. If your certificate is damaged or lost, you will have to retake the quiz to get a new certificate.

Earn Category #5 (Newsletters/Manuals/Journals) CEUs By Reading Tech Update

Technicians may qualify for up to 1 CEU per certification cycle for reading the Tech Update. To qualify, Technicians must read 2 issues of the Tech Update and complete the quiz for both editions.

CEUs earned by viewing these presentations and completing the quizzes should be entered under "Category #5: Newsletters/Manuals/Journals." This category is also labeled "8e: Newsletters/Manuals/Journals (Category 5)" on the "Recertification Requirements and Status Summary" page used to enter information during an individual's recertification cycle.

Unless otherwise directed to do so by the Safe Kids Worldwide Certification Program, Technicians should not mail these quizzes or any other CEU materials or documentation to the Safe Kids Certification Program. Technicians should keep these documents in their files. If audited, Technicians must submit 2 quizzes with at least 4 out of 5 answers correct on each quiz. Quizzes will be scored by Safe Kids when submitted.
