It is important that current technicians recertify because the more technicians that recertify, the safer the children of Wisconsin will be.

Below you will find a flow chart that gives basic information regarding re-certification. After identifying the correct path for either an instructor or technician, please click on a box to view instructions for that specific step of the process.

Individuals will be randomly selected for the audit process by SAFE KIDS.  The selection will occur within a few months of registering and paying for certification.  If selected for audit you will be required to submit evidence of continuing education units (CEU).
